My dear Grace
I am very sorry to hear you are such an invalid. I hope ere this the unpleasant complaint has subsided. When you must take all things to strengthen you of course you have good medical advice[.] // You are in the land of medical men[.] it is considered a good school for that profession.
The books you mention I should like to procure. are they to be sold? I shall probably be sending a small parcel to Fingerton[?] which I shall // request the favour of you to have forwarded by railway, and the carriage paid. I suppose I may send it through the same Channel – it will not be just yet – I hope you will be able in your next in your next to send me favourable account. I am truly glad to hear that Mrs. Bruce has a kind person with her. // I hope your sister is now in good health & that you will not again be called upon to take such a journey by Night!!
Believe me dear Cousin sincerely ever yours,
J Webster
I hope you have kind friends
