Text
Mr John Graham Dalyell, with best respects to Miss Webster, begs leave to express his infinite acknowledgements, for your valuable works, which cannot but give high gratification to everyone perusing them as Miss Webster proves herself a just observer of human life – of then and nowadays[?]
Sir John has seen Mr Tait, and after fully discussing the subject, both concur that, at present, there would be considerable difficulty in attaining the object in view. – But, even without it, there can be no doubt of the works of so accomplished a lady, as Miss Webster, making their own way in this world.
